But a Philadelphia-area expert said the potential for a wake coming off the C-17 transport plane to put Obama's plane in peril is very real.
John Gagliano is an attorney at TheWolk Law Firm and aviation expert, and he says the incident is serious.
"It is like the wake of a ship, it is like mini-Tornadoes," Gagliano says about the disturbance caused by the gigantic cargo plane.
Gagliano says this is an exceptionally serious problem because of the training requited for anyone to work in the area around Andrews Air Base, and such an incident shouldn't happen. [read more at MyFoxPHILLY.com]
